    Middle Ages (Part 2)

    The Middle Ages was more like the Medieval times because they wore armor and fought with swords. The new religion of catholics were growing and getting really big in religion belief. Toward the 11th century the catholic church started a religious expeditions, or crusades, to expel muslims from the holy land. This really impacted us because a lot of people in the world still use the religious belief of the catholics and others broke off like the lutherans.

    Middle Ages (Part 1)
    The Middle Ages (otherwise known as the Dark Ages) was revolved around a monarchy which is land ruled by Kings & Queens. The Kings and Queens became rulers because they told people that god gave them the power. The power rankings went from Kings to nobles (which were people who owned land and had a military)to peasants other wise known as surfs, they practically worked and then died. The Nobles where in charge of leading the pilgrimages.

    The Crusades
    The Crusades were often expeditions between Christian's and muslims. They fought for the holy land which were considered sacred to both religions. The bloody, violent and often ruthless conflicts propelled the status of European Christians, making them major players in the fight for land in the Middle East. The first crusade was the people's crusade which was made up of knights and commoners under the command of Peter the Kermit.

    The Crusades (Part 2)

    Although they failed to capture Jerusalem, they had several major impacts on Western Europe. They increased authority of the king and queen which is otherwise known as a monarchy. Sometimes nobles died and when they died the kings and queens got their land because of the impact on the kings and queens. Although the kings and queens had it the best because of the land and authority they did have to pay taxes to fund the Crusades.

    The Renaissance was a period in the European history that last from about 14th century to 17 century. Renaissance is French for "Rebirth". The Renaissance was a major time in the European history because of the outcomes and possibilities that it had granted us.

The Renaissance was a big impact on us because of the new techniques and art and literature we learned through it. It also was a lead to a new church, The Catholic Church. The Renaissance was a big movement towards education and Religion. Although it was caused by the Black Plague, The Renaissance was a major impact to us because of the chances it granted us.

The war started when Fredrik II invaded Austria's ally saxony in order to deny a base to prevent what he thought was going to be an attack on him.

Although they did get major land, Britain and France suffered the most when it comes to financial outcomes. The Treaty of Paris was the cause of this war ending. It caused france and Britain to resolve their conflicts and make piece.

    World War l was a world wide war that was also known as "The War To End All Wars" obviously that didn't happen. The war was pretty much started because the Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife were both shot dead by a Bosnian Serb, Gavrilo Princip. The Allies included Britain, France, Russia, Italy and the United States. The Central Powers, which included Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria.

    World War l had a huge impact on the world because of the lives that were taken and the experiences the survivors had. World War l was the bloodiest war and the most expensive war this had the most countries fighting in it. Over 9 million men died and 7 million were left paralyzed. The war changed the economical balance of the world, leaving European countries deep in debt and making the U.S. the leading industrial power and creditor in the world.

    World War 2 was a war fought over two sides The Axis which included Germany,Italy, and Japan, and the Allies Which included USA, Britain, China, and the Soviet Union. World War II was a very bloody war, this war was not fought over guns or cannons or aircraft it was simply fought over power because Germany wanted to be the best and most powerful country in the world. Luckily we stopped Germany and their foolish remarks towards becoming the best.

    The war was fought because Germany wanted to rank up in the power system. Adolf HItler was the leader of the germans or the nazis, he thought that the reason they were so low on the power scale was because of the Jewish people. This lead to the death of 6 million Jewish people other wise known as the Holocaust. The Holocaust is among one of the worst acts in the world because of the innocent lives that were killed off all because Hitler thought he was big.

    The Great Plague was practically the last strike of the bubonic plague lasting from 1965-1966. The plague was passed through fleas living in rats and then the fleas attach to us and transfer the disease to us. 68,596 people were killed well that was recorded the true number was more like 100,000 people lost.

    The Great Plague was generally good for Europe. After it struck people were figuring out that they need to be educated and use their lives for a bigger meaning. This plague caused many cities to be repopulated but many more were built. The Plague did cause a lot of deaths but the life span did go up afterward so i guess it got better. The earliest start of the disease was recorded as early as 1665 but that was just a couple of cases it didn't really get bad until 1965
