    In the early days of psychology, abnormal behaviors were thought to be caused by demons. To release these "demons", the victim would have holes drilled in their head, also known as Trephination.

    The internet created a new standard of dilemmas relating to privacy, anonymity, obtaining informed consent, protecting deception, and identity verification.

  • American Psychological Association

    A final copy of "Ethical Principals of Psychologists and Code of Conduct" was published in 2002. The code of conduct covers a lot of the major issues in conducting psychology.
