These oils are used to make perfumes, but more importantly medicines. They were made of resins ,spices ,aromatic vinegars, and flowers. These were also used to deepen meditation, and to purify the spirt.

    One of Chinas most well known emperors wrote a book on eternal medicine, and how to cure many diseases using aromatic oils. By this time vinegars were more common to use. These helped with the Bubonic Plague. The oils reduced pain and made the victims more comfortable.

People use them for all sorts of things including calming, to sleep, and as remedies for sicknesses. They are sold all over the world. Diffusers are also sold these are used to diffuse the oil of your choice into the air you breathe. They do this by distilling them in water and making a sort of steam through the machine.
