Minamata Disease
The Minamata disease is a chronological disease which is caused by severe mercury poisoning. This disease was first discovered in Minamata, Japan, due to poisonous industrial waste leaking into the water which Japanese fishermen caught fish and shellfish. This led to a widespread epidemic to all who consumed the poisoned seafood. -
