  • Stage 1

Julius (7 months) is now with his mother all day because his parents want him to form a strong, trusting relationship with one of them in his early stages of life. In the first stage, trust vs. mistrust, its important for the child to have someone in their lives to form that first strong bond with which will last throughout their lives.
  • Stage 4

Julius (10 years old) joined the basketball team to fit in with his friends and show them that he can play too. In the fourth stage, industry vs. inferiority, children need to learn new skills to avoid the feeling of being inferior to their social group.
  • Stage 6

Julius (22 years old) has just graduated college, got a job, and is now looking for a girlfriend. In the fifth stage, intimacy vs. isolation, he is on his own now in the real world and is looking for someone to share his life with instead of spending his time alone.
