Jane Seymour
Born in 1509, died October 24 1537, Married King Henry on May 30th,1536 Jane was VERY uneducated! Even though she was the 3rd wife of King Henry, she was never actually crowned queen. Jane was the only wife of Henry who managed to have a son. Jane was also the only wife to have been burried along with the King Jane died from child birth 2 weeks after her son was born. -

Henry VIII Takes the Throne
Henry VIII was born on June 28,1491 in Greenwich to Henry VII and Elizabeth of York. He was 18 years old when he took the trone after his dad died. He took the throne due to the fact that he was the heir. Henry VIII broke away from the church because he wanted to divorce his wife. He wanted a son and his wife couldn't give him one but if he went to another wife without divorce, it would be considered adultery. He died on January 28, 1547 of obesity. -

Catherine of Aragon
King Henry married Catherine of Aragon. She was only 23 when she married King Henry VIII. Her coronation was on June 15th, 1509. Her first daughter was born stillborn on January 31, 1510. She gave birth to six kids total when she was with Henry. The only child that survived was Mary. The couple got divorced on May 23, 1533. She died on January 7, 1536 of heart cancer. -

King Henry VIII marries his second wife, Anne Boleyn. Her coronation was on June 1, 1533. Her crown was the St. Edwards Crown, which before her had only been used for monarchs. She had troubles conceiving a child. She was convicted of tyranny and was referred to as the "king's prostitute". She was executed on a Friday and was convicted of adultery. -

Edward VI Takes the Throne
After his father died, Edward was the heir so he took the throne. His mother was Jane Seymour. Edward was a bright child who studied often and grew in knowledge. He took the throne at the age of 10 years old. He led England into a war and he died on July 16. 1553 of an uknown illness. -

The act of supemacy were giving complete power to the queen or king over the church and putting monarchy back in place. The act of supremacy was taken away in 1554 by King Henry's daughter Mary because she was mad at him. The act was put back in place by Queen Elizabeth the 1st.
