The Slave Trade/The Traingle Trade
The slave trade began at the 15th century. The slave trade or known as the traingle trade was between England, West Africa, North America and Caribbean. The trade began in Britain were the ships was loaded with guns and other manufactured goods and saild to West Africa. Then the stuff was traded for slaves and they sailed to the Caribbean across the Atlantic. In Caribbean they sold the slaves to owners with large companys and then was loaded with sugar,tobacco and cotton to sail back to Britain. -

English In India
Today in Calcutta the local language is Bengali and the national language is Hindi. But the language that you see in public is often English. It happend when Queen Elizabeth started the East India company in 1600 to develop trading between Britain and India. English became the trading language i India. But some words britain meant something else in Indian English. The popularity of English has helped to create two new languages: Binglish and Hinglish. The Indian English has a diffrent dialect. -

The First Fleet
The first fleet arrived in Port Jackson in Australia in 1788. It was a fleet with 11 ships with around 780 english people. But these people were criminals that had commited a crime in England and were transported for life. That means that they were transported to Australia to live there because the had commited a crime and were not allowed to return to England.
