My Birth
I was born on March 4, 1848 in a Small Town in Ireland. Their was no problems with it I have heard. I am told it was swift and easy. The clouds coated the sky and started to pour once I was born. The sun coating itself in a blanket of mist. -
Move to America
I packed my stuff up and am ready to leave for America. Me and My Dad plan on going and making our fortune. My Mother Died of Turberculosis and now we are going to America to put our destiny into action. As we board the boat we think about the land we are leaving behind. This is going to be great. -
Arrival to Ellis Island
The HistoryAfter what seemed and endless Journy across sea we arrived to Ellis Island. Upon Arrival we put our gaze on a magnificent statue. Our eyes shining as we pulled up to start our journy in the land of Oppurtunities. As we pull up we can't help but look up at the statue of magnificent beauty. Our gaze was held. -
Ellis Island to NYC
Upon are arrival we were offered a night to stay. When we woke up we had to go through several stations. At the last station a small boat waited to take us to the new world and upon arrival we are greeted by a wave up buildings. Some our just skeletons while others our as high as the sky. I soon hope to be up there. We have enough money to last a week or so. And should be good for the New World. -
Job of a Lifetime
Throughout my time in America I realized that people here are not as welcoming as I thought they would. Over the past years I have secured a Job, house, and small family. We are not treated the worst here though. I work on building skyscrapers. The pay is bestter then I would have imagined. (Incomplete) -
The Older Days
Ellis Island InfoThroughtout the course of my life I have had it easy. Their has been racism but it comes and goes for certain people. I secured a job and still have it. I have a wife but no kids. My house is 3 rooms. Kitchen, Living Room and Bedroom. My life has come togther better then I could have ever imagined. And I have America to thank.
