214 men took 17 months which is equals to a year and a half 1885-1887 -

In order to get the statue of liberty to America men traveled by boat in 1885. -

17 months later lady liberty was standing tall again -
She became the face of freedom
People who came from other countries felt like they have reached freedom when they see the Statue of Liberty on Ellis Island.
