Proclamation Line of 1763
This line was set after the French and Indian war ended and was made because there were too many fights w the Indians. The colonists were not allowed to bother the Indians who had all of the Appalachian mountains to themselves. Boston Tea Party
The colonists were angry at the British government because they raised all of the taxes, called the Tea Act. In response, the colonists dumped all of the tea into the harbor, costing Britain a lot of money.

The Civil War overall

Overall, the Civil War was fought between the Confederacy and Union about slavery. The Confederacy, the south, wanted slavery while the Union, the North wanted to abolish it. A compromise was not possible since both regions were stubborn about their belief and wouldn't budge on the subject. Many bloody battles were fought leaving the North and South in fragile conditions. -

The assassination of the Austrian Archduke spiraled the war. Serbia killed the Archduke and Austria declared war. They each had many allies that joined them. The US came in later because of the Zimmerman telegram and the bombing of the Lusitania. Trenches were used in this war and were very useful, but also led to diseases and stalemate.
