Elies changes from beginning of Night to the end of Night

  • Elie meets a person called Moshe the Beadle

  • German Officers move into Elie's neighborhood

  • the day after passover Elie and his family and all the other jews have to stand out in the heat

  • nobody was to leave their houses for three days and then had to wear the star on their forhead

  • Elie hears Moshes story of what he experienced

  • Elie and his family have to move out and are forced to move in a concentration csmp

  • for the first time he felt hatred torwards the hungarian police

  • they arrive at Auswitz

  • Elie meets the first ss officer "Dr. Mengele"

  • a gypsy beat Elie's dad and elie didnt do anything about it

  • Elie's mother and other girl relatives were sent to the creamatorium and elie and his dad were left

  • Elie and his dad were evacuated to another concentration camp

  • they arrive at Gliewitz

  • Idek made everyone remove theier gold teeth and elie had one but lied to the doctor telling him that he was sick

  • Elie get his first beating of 25 lashes

  • Elie has to march with the band and so does his father and elie gives up his tooth to stop idek from hitting his father for not marching in beat

  • Elie nearly loses his dad during another selection but Elie confuses the ss officer and he saves his dad

  • Another evacuation is happeneing and Elie is in the hospital and has a choice to stay back or go with his father and run to the other camp

  • Elie and his dad run all the way to the next camp (Buchenwald)

  • Elies dad isnt doing so good and Elie has to take care of him givng his dad all his food

  • Elies dad was sick with dysentarey

  • Elies dad says his last words before he sleeps and they were "Eliezer"

  • Elie's father died at buchenwald

  • Elie and other children from the concentration camp get rescued
