The computer was described as 'the savior of school and university instruction' it was useful for both adults and children. Software on a computer allowed tutorial and coaching instructions for many things e.g. problem solving, database use, educational games and much more. -

Educational TV is much like educational film, th purpose is to educate but it engages children more with songs, dance and other visual stimulus.
