It impacted education at the time by allowing all children an opportunity to learn and grow. It continues to influence education by providing the Individualized Education Program and 504 plans set up for each individual student to protect their rights and give them what they need per their disability (Riek, 2020), (Kiril, 2014). -

This impacted education by giving children the moral guidelines they might be missing at home. It continues to influence education by still being taught today and the cornerstone of most elementary schools. Core values are a significant part of the elementary school philosophy (Riek, 2020). -

Common core standards are significant because it established the end goal for students each year. It impacted education at the time by allowing the teachers to have flexibility in their teaching. It continues to influence education by having standards but allowing teachers the advantage to teach in a way that is best for their class (Riek, 2020).
