Ballpoint Pen
Brought to the US as an invention by Lazlo Brio and replacing the Quill Pen and Ink method, the ballpoint pen reduced the time it took to write. Constantly being bathed in ink, the ballpoint pen eliminated the need to repeatedly dip your quill in the ink. This ink also dried much faster. Pen | writing implement. (n.d.).
