Programming began way before computers are made. Jacquard loom made the first machine to make it easier to sort out and make fabric. -

The first computing language was made by Konrad Zuse. Near the end of world war two the computers that Zuse was building was destroyed, but he managed to save one machine called the Z4. -
ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integer and Computer)
It was completed at the University of Pennsylvania. It was called the "Giant Brain" back then. It was a 1000 times faster than the electro-mechanical machines. -
ARC Assembly
Kathleen Booth created the assembly language and designed the ARC computer at Birbeck college in London. -
ENIAC Short Code
The Short Code was made by John Mauchly. It was made to simplify the language in the ENIAC by using math rather than machine instructions.
