Antonie Philips van Leeuwenhoek thanks to his discovery of microorganisms,in 1673, using a simple single-lensed microscopes he made himself.
His discovery and so the optical microscope revolutionized biology andcreated a new scientific study : microbiology, from wich van Leeuwenhoek is considered the father. -
Isaac newton
Isaac Newton is an English mathematician and physicist who lived during the middle of the 17th and early 18th century. He contributed to the Science Revolution of the 17th Century. He’s mostly known for his discovery of gravity and his “theory of universal gravitation” which has been published in the Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica in 1687 among other things such as orbital dynamics and tidal theory. -
The steam machine
The steam engine was created in 1712 by Thomas Newcomen. One of the uses of the steam engine was to remove water from the mines, which wasted a lot of the workers' time because of the laborious methods of removing the water themselves. In 1764, the steam engine was improved by James Watt who found a way for the steam not to escape.
