King Louis's Execution
King Louis XVI was executed with a guillotine. He arrived in his own royal carriage, and only men of the millitary were allowed to view his execution. -
Reign of Terror
Led by Robespierre, the Reign of Terror was a time with mass executions for anyone who opposed the revolution. Crimina courts held trials only for those who were denounced.
