    Stein Committee Reviews IRB Application Packages

    The Stein Committee was established on July 31. All proposals in the MFA Choreography program were reviewed and recommendations for IRB Review were made for each candidate. The IRB Application Packets will start being reviewed by the Stein Committee on August 21. The committee will give feedback on the candidate's packet and continue to support the candidate through to IRB approval.
  • Adapt IRB Forms for Diverse Embodied Research Practices

    Faculty will collaborate with the IRB Administrator to adapt forms in the IRB packet to reflect methods and procedures of embodied practices. The faculty and IRB Administrator will also stream line forms in an effort to allow both the researcher and the reviewer a more direct understanding of information needed in each section of the forms.
  • Develop Key Frameworks For Embodied Practice (Choreography) as Research

    MFA Faculty will work together to establish key frameworks for embodied practice as research. These key frameworks will be shared with IRB members to help inform their developing knowledge of choreography in research contexts.
  • Embodied Practice Workshop for IRB Reviewers

    This workshop is geared for IRB members that have little understanding of common undertakings and procedures in embodied practice as research (choreographic research). The aim is for IRB members to physically participant in actions for embodied creativity
  • MFA Candidates Submit Stein Committee Reviewed IRB Packets to the IRB

  • Annual Diversity Workshop for IRB Members

    Each year IRB members attend a workshop to go through the process of filling out an IRB application using critical perspectives of diversity.
