  • The Swede

    • Camera: We learnt the basic skills of using a camera. We were taught how to zoom in and focus the screen, how to record a clip and how to position the characters on camera (no space above the head).
    • Final cut pro: We learnt the basic skill of cutting clips and placing them together to make a sequence. We also learnt how to put sound onto our swede.
  • The Prelim

    • Camera: We learnt different camera angles that we used in our Prelim (extreme close up, panning).
    • Final cut pro: Cutting, adding text to make the title sequence. How to place clips in chronological order.
  • The Thriller

    • Camera: We used different camera angles such as POV, over the shoulder, tracking, panning, close up etc.
    • Final cut pro: We used this to cut out footage together and used transitions to change between scenes. We also added filters and text to create the title sequence.
    • Soundtrack: We used this to create sound for our thriller. We also used Foley sound to match any actions in our thriller.
  • Prelim - Music video

    • Camera: We went back to basic, using simple camera angles and a tripod as we was doing this activity to practice creating a music video.
    • Final cut pro: We had practice of working with base tracks and how to cut on the mark of the beat.
    • Sound: We had to add the song onto our music video and match it to the lip synching of our artist.
  • Anamatic storyboard

    • Digital camera: to take pictures of the storyboard we drew on paper.
    • Final cut pro: We used this to place the images into a sequence and placed the song that we wanted to used against the images.
  • Music video

    • Camera: We used the camera to record our basetracks. We used different camera angles such as close up, high angle, tracking etc.
    • Final cut pro: We used this to edit together our basetracks to create a music video. We also added transitions and used speed manipulation.
  • Ancillary

    • DSLR camera: To take clear pictures for our Digipak and advertisement.
    • Photoshop: To edit together our ancillary products. We used filters, text, images and special effects.
