  • Meets Queequeg

    Ishmael is looking for a whaling vessel but he stops at a whalers' inn. He then meets a man, Queequeg. To start Ishmael didn't like Queequeg because of his looks, he was covered in tattoos, but then shortly after he enjoyed Queequeg's character, he was a kind and generous man.
  • The Pequod

    Ishmael and Queequeg found a whaling vessel called The Pequod. But the man selling them the vessel warned them about Ahab, the mysterious man who was the captain of the Perquod. He was missing a leg due to a sperm whale they encountered last time the Perquod was out at sea.
  • Departure

    The Pequod left the shores of Nantucket on a cold Christmas morning. They had gathered a crew of men from all around the world. Abah, the captain, showed himself for the first time declaring that they were going to hunt down the great Moby Dick the white whale that bite off his leg.
  • The stowaways

    After countless unsuccessful hunts, a group of men appeared on deck and none of the other crew members even knew who they were or where they came from. Among the men was a leader, Fedallah, saying that he and his men are Abah's private harpoon crew.
  • A spark of hope

    Abah, struggling to find Moby Dick is hopeful that this very successful harpoon crew can help him on his journey to hunt the legendary whale.
  • The prophecy

    The Pequod encounters another vessel out at sea, The captain of the other boat was a prophet named Gabriel. Abah crazed with the idea to kill Moby Dick demands information about the whereabouts of the whale but Gabrieal warns Abah about hunting the great whale because anyone that threatens Moby Dick is doomed.
  • Signs

    The Pequod kills several whales along this journey Issuing a prophecy about Ahab’s death. Fedallah declares that Ahab will first see two hearses, the second one will be made of wood, and that he will be killed by rope. A typhoon hits the Pequod, causing it to catch fire. Ahab takes this occasion as a sign of imminent confrontation and success, but Starbuck, the vessel's first mate, takes it as a bad omen and considers killing Ahab to end the mad quest.
  • The massacre

    Ahab finally spots Moby Dick. The harpoon boat was launched but Moby Dick destroys it. The next day, Moby Dick is spotted again. This time they harpooned Moby Dick but still attacks the boat. Fedallah got caught in a harpoon line and was drug overboard to his death. On the third day, the boats spot the whale but once again attacked. Moby Dick rams the Pequod and sinks it. creating a vortex that sucked almost everyone under, drowning them. Ishmael was the only one that survived.
