Digital Camera
Digital cameras were a big part of our childhood as our parents would constantly document almost all of our achievements and / or milestones in life. We were introduced to these early in life around 2002, but initially didn't understand how it worked or how to operate the device. -
Personal Computer
Laptops and computers in general were essential once we were tasked to create powerpoints and word documents for school purposes during our late elementary years around 2009 - 2012. Before this, we'd usually just use laptops / computers to play games. -
Smartphone
Our introduction to smartphones came in the form of the iPhone in 2007. The iPhone that we were introduced to weren't ours they either belonged to our family members or relatives. -
Tamagotchi
These tiny devices were very rampant during our elementary years around 2007 - 2011. These devices allowed us to take care of a virtual pet and was especially fun for kids who weren't allowed to have real life pets at home due to varying circumstances. -
Smartwatch
Smartwatches when we were introduced to them are a far cry to what they are today. Back when we were introduced to smartwatches, they were used to tell time, calculate, play games, etc. Today they're basically a mini computer on your wrist. We were introduced to these smartwatches around 2012. -
USB Flash Drive
Flash drives were very useful and portable devices for storage and data sharing when we were introduced to them in our late elementary years (2010 - 2012) when we really found a use for these devices. -
Pocket WiFi
Our introduction to pocket WiFi happened when the need to always be online during our junior high school years around 2013 - 2016. Although we couldn't use our phones back in junior high school, the pocket WiFi was still useful when traveling around. -
Power Bank / Portable Charger
The need to always be online also came with the need for a constant, portable power source which is exactly what a power bank brought to the table. We were introduced to these around junior high school as well around 2013 - 2016.
