    Textbook were used after the 1500's. Back in the 1500's their were no computers, ipads, laptops etc. which was used to search, or revise with, people had to use textbooks to get their information. However, in today's society textbooks are still being used, but not as much as their were being used in the 1500's. The reason for this is because sine the 1500's and until now, they have been many technologies out which help to study.

    The chalkboard was used since the 19th Century. It was very useful as it was beneficial for teachers because they were able to teach to the whole class of students. The disadvantage of the chalkboard was that when their was not enough room to write anymore, th teachers had to erase off the work previously explained which means that the student's who did not make notes on the previous information given, they were no learn from it.

    Education radio stations were known back in the day as "school of the air." They would remote access to education. The advantages of this radio are is portable and if you have this device you did not have to come in lesson instead, you would stay a home and listen to the teacher and makes notes at home. However, 50% of the teachers have said they could not provide equipment. It is a new technology, hence it would be very expensive to purchase.
