Anne describes the first thing each person wants when they get out of the Secret Annex:
Mr. and Mrs. van Daan: a hot bath.
Mr. Dussel: to see his girlfriend.
Mrs. Frank: a cup of real coffee.
Mr. Frank: to see Mr. Voskuijl (the nice guy who is dying of cancer).
Peter: to go downtown.
Anne: for her family to have a home of their own again so she can move about freely.
