  • My Beginning

    My Beginning
    I was born at 10:28 PM at the Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. My parents, Terri and Brad Wyman, were very excited to welcome me into the world. My mom even said I looked like a turtle the first time she saw me! My parents were always there for me. They were the most selfless people I know and raised me into the person I am today.

  • First Family Vacation

    First Family Vacation
    I was five months old when we took our first family vacation to Florida to celebrate Christmas with my Dad's side of the family. This was my first time on a airplane and my parents said I wasn't scared at all! I loved the beach so much, always have and always will.
  • First Haircut

    First Haircut
    I got my haircut (which was not a lot of hair at all) for the first time when I was 14 months old by my grandfather who was a hair dresser at the time.
  • Brother was Born

    We may have had our fair share of arguments, but my brother will always be my best friend and someone to go to when I need a good laugh. Jacob was born at the Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ.

    Finally, I get to go to preschool!! My first day of preschool was on September 5th, 2003. My mom said I was very excited to go, and insisted on picking out my outfit and packing my backpack all by myself.

  • Mill Pond School

    Many people hated Mill Pond School, but I loved. I was able to go to school everyday with my dad, who was the technology teacher there. Everyone loved me there, I was famous!
  • Starting Middle School

    Starting Middle School
    Around this time, I learned my first life lesson. At the start middle school, I began having very bad anxiety. These next two years were some of the hardest times of my life. But, I learned many skills and techniques to cope with my anxiety. This taught me that no matter how hard something in life is, it will pass and eventually get better.
  • Trying New Sports

    During my childhood, my parents signed my up for what seemed like every sport known to man! Whether it was karate or cheerleading, I did it all. Finally, in eighth grade I realized that field hockey was the sport that I would stick with throughout high school and play until my senior year. I loved the feeling of being on a team.

    During middle school, I began to get close with two girls, Brianna and Jada. Little did I know that six years later they would be my best friends. We have our ups and downs, just like any friendships, but nothing will ever replace them.

    Some of my most fondest memories in high school were the school dances. Getting ready, taking pictures and dancing was all so exciting. I wish I could go back and relive those nights!

    Saying goodbye to the place I spent four years at was hard, but rewarding. Saying goodbye to the teachers that made an impact on my life was difficult, but I knew it wouldn't be long until I saw them again.

    The four years I spent at Misericordia University were some of the best. It was a lot to get used to at first. It forced me to step out of my comfort zone and meet new people, move three hours away from home, and share a bathroom (EW)! Overall, I met great people, studied hard, and eventually graduated as an Registered Nurse!

    Studying Abroad
    During my junior year of college, I studied abroad for a few weeks in Tanzania with other nursing students at Misericordia. We spent four weeks working at a health clinic running check ups for thousands of adults and children living here. The culture, experience and bonds that were made was just amazing!
  • College Graduation

    Graduating high school was great, but graduating from college was such an amazing experience. So much hard work had finally paid off!
  • First "Real" Job

    First "Real" Job
    "The Real World" was beginning to be my reality. I got my first nursing job at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, near my hometown. I remember my first day of work as if it was yesterday. I was so nervous but also extremely excited to finally be able to do what I love.
  • Getting Married

    I met "the one" when I was 23 years old. We got married two years later. We purchased our own home in Island Heights, NJ after the wedding. We were so excited to begin a family of our own!

    Having a family was something that I always dreamed of. Three kids: a boy first, and then two twin girls. And I got just that! Having a family taught me that children sure are expensive, but they teach you what it's like to truly love something. Oh and yes...we got a dog too!

    Traveling with my Family
    As a child, I was fortunate enough to travel a lot with my parents and brother. I wanted to give my children the same experience I did. I thought that it was important for them to see that there's more out there than just Island Heights.

    My husband and I bought a vacation home on Lake George, where my parents were living, so our children could see their grandparents. It was great to see my children have such a close relationship with my parents!
  • PTA and Soccer Mom

    All throughout my life people have told me that I would be that mom cheering on their kids on the sideline at every soccer game, or in charge of the book fairs at their school. Well, my calling had officially arrived.

    Sending the Kids Off to College
    After filling out what seems like one hundred college applications and attending way to many financial aid meetings, it was time to send my children off to college. I was excited to see them have the time of their lives at college, but I couldn't help cry sending them away. I was going to miss my babies!
  • Relaxing

    The kids are away at college, work is coming to an end, and my husband and I can finally kick are feet up and relax. We did a great job at raising our kids!
  • Helping the Community

    All that relaxing started to make me feel guilty, so I began helping out in my community. I always loved to give back, so this experience was so rewarding.

    It was finally time to hang up the stethoscope. As much as I loved what I did, I was tired. After retirement, my husband and I traveled the world together. We wanted to see it all before it was our time to go.

    I finally got to hold a baby again! Whether it was playing in the park, or slipping them twenty dollar bills during their teenage years, being a grandma to two children was amazing!

    As a child, my grandmother had dinner every Tuesday night for my entire family. This was always something I wanted to do for my children and there families. Seeing my entire family one a week around the dinner table always put a smile on my face.

    After our trip around the world, I had a lot of free time on my hands. I began volunteering at a animal shelter and played with puppies all day. What's better than that?!

    The time had finally come where I stopped worrying about material goods, and cherished the short life that I had left.

    My husband and I moved into an adult community in my hometown, Pheasant Run. This was the best decision ever! We spent our days at the pool soaking up the sun, or in the club house playing cards.

    Living as long as possible was always a priority to me. I just loved the life I was living! Although I was old and I knew the time I had life was short, I always made sure to get my exercise in and take my vitamins.

    Just when I thought spoiling the grandchildren was over...I got to do it all over again! I was blessed with three beautiful great grandchildren. They always came to visit me at my house and gave the greatest hugs. They were always see happy to see me!

    Wipe those tears away! Although my time has come, I will always be with you. I have lived the greatest life, thanks to my loving husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thank you for everything.
