Decisions in my life

  • Move to Újpest

    Move to Újpest
My family and I moved to Újpest 11 years ago. When we decided to move away, we could decide if we want to move to a safe neighbourhood where the prices are higher, or if we want to buy a cheaper house which has a dangerous neighbourhood. We chose the first option, so we bought a house in Újpest, where the neighbourhood is safe, but the prices aren't as low as in the 10th district.
Opportunity cost: We could spare money, but in that case we couldn't feel safe.
  • A new dog

    A new dog
When my parents allowed me to have a dog, I could decide if I want to get a Bull Terrier or a Yorkshire Terrier. Finally, I chose the Bull Terrier because I have a sister and a brother and it gets on well with children, protects its family and is a more lovable dog.
Opportunity cost: If I chose the Yorkshire Terrier, I could spare time because it doesn't have as big need of exercise as the Bull Terrier, and it doesn't need so frequent walks.
  • Holiday in Greece

    Holiday in Greece
My family and I had some spared money which was tucked away in a bank. We took it out of the bank and spent an unforgettable holiday in Greece.
Opportunity cost: We could leave it in the bank and let it to earn interest.
  • Decision of secondary school

    Decision of secondary school
I decided to go to Berzeviczy Gergely Secondary Bilingual Vocational School of Economics. I chose it due to the high English training, the subjects that are taught in English, and because it's close to me.
Opportunity cost: I could go to Ady Endre High School, where the half of my previous classmates attend to, and which is a more-well known school.
