November 1, All saints or children day
Its now my second day here celebrating Day for the Dead. Today the honor the children. It is said that the children will visit their alters tonight, and be there in spirit to help us celebrate their lives. -

November 2, All souls day
Today is my last day here in Mexico and I have really enjoyed getting to know about Day of the Dead. On this last day the adults who have passes. The families of the lost ones have picnics and enjoys time with each other. At the end fireworks are lighted to show every life that is no longer living. -

October 30, Preparations
On my first day of my trip to Mexico, I visited my friend Maria, to tell me about Day of the dead. She said that her family goes and sets up flowers and candles of there loved ones. We went back to her home where she taught me to make, some were tamales, mole and spicy Mexican hot chocolate. She also told me that they put of water and salt to help the thirst of the sould
