The bombing of Air India Flight 182 was the largest mass killing in Canadian history and this attack was connected to the Narita Airport Bombing because these two bombings were both flies from Canada and both the destination was India and both bombing only the luggage was on the flights but the owner of the luggage was not on the flight, and the most important point is both the owner's last name were the same and fake, this shows that this two bombing maybe plan by the same group. -
École Polytechnique massacre
École Polytechnique massacre was the mass shooting at the École Polytechnique in Montreal. There were 14 women were murdered by Marc Lépine. In my option, I think the Massacre was connecting to the murderer's childhood because the murderer’s childhood had a certain defect, it caused him to hate women very much. After the massacre , the Canadian women's movement seems like the symbol of the violence againist women. -
Oka Crisis
The Oka Crisis was the first well-publicized violent conflict between the First Nations and the Canadian government in the late 20th century. in my option, this incident publicized the ethnic issues of the Canadian government and the First Nations, and made the world understand how the First Nations and the Canadian government deal with this aspect. -
Gulf War
The Gulf War was the war between Iraq and many countries headed by the United States. In a historical perspective, we can see that the war was caused by the issue between Kuwait and Iraq, after that the UN send the United army to join the war. Iraq finally accepted UN Security Council Resolution 660 and withdrew its troops from Kuwait. -
Turbot War
Turbot war was the international fishing dispute between Canada and Spain. Canada claimed that European Union factory ships were illegally overfishing. For Canada, the vessels of the EU factory have seriously affected the marine property of Canada, Newfoundland. So this causes the issue to happen. In the Historical perspective, Canada shows that Canada wants to maintain Canada's interests and protecting Newfoundland. -
1995 Quebec referendum
The 1995 Quebec independence referendum was the second referendum to ask voters in the Canadian French-speaking province of Quebec. Voting took place on October 30, 1995, and featured the largest voter turnout in Quebec's history 93.52%. The "No" option carried by 54,288 votes 50.58%. This vote shows that the continuity from before to current time, and this phenomenon let us know that the difference between the French-Canadians and the Canadians. September 11 attacks
The September 11 Attacks were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda against the United States on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001. This was the single deadliest terrorist attack in human history and the single deadliest incident for firefighters and law enforcement officers in the history of the United States, with 343 and 72 killed, respectively. This evidence show that the attacks were horrible. -
Idle No More
Idle No More is an ongoing protest movement. This is a grassroots movement among the Aboriginal peoples in Canada comprising the First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples and their non-Aboriginal supporters in Canada, and to a lesser extent, internationally. In my option, I can see the ethical judgment between first nations and the non-first nation, the first nations have been recognized by the public as a lower class, this is the unequal treatment for the First Nation
