A U2 spy plane was going over cuba taking picture and found out that cuba had nucuar missiles. JFK was noticed and panic hit the USA.

Military unnits started to form in small numbers while JFK Holds a meeting. He then creates a commitie called Excoom.

Excoom meets again, and talks about weather a blockaid or airstirck would be better. Us finds long range bilistic missiles in cuba. JFK meets with Excoom does not make a decision on what to do. Also meets with SU forgin minister, denies anything about the missiles.

Excoom and others work on creating a plan on how to stop CUbs. THe airstick plan is thrown away and they foucus on creating a plan for JFK

Excoom creates the final plan for the blockaid. They prepare to Present it to JFK. Prepare to tell the United States bout the missiles in cuba.

Kennedy orders the blockaid to be put in action as soon as possible

USA Panics

Oct 22, 1962

JFK tells America that there is SU missiles in Cuba. More plans for the blockaid are talked about.

Tensions start

AOS agrees on the plan to blockaid Cuba. Boats start to go to cuba, while pictures show that the missiles are ready for lunch. JFK freas that a war will start. THe Blcokaid begins

SU Reach blockaid

Oct 24, 1962

SU boats reach the blockaid and holds position, Khrushchev accuses JFK of risking the world of a nucular war, He refesus to take the missiles off of cuba.

Panic and pled

Oct 25, 1962

USA sends another letter to the SU to change the corse of events. US ambasador confronts the SU, they do not respond.

Peace Talks to begin

Oct 26, 1962

Khruschchev starts to talk to America. They say they will remove the missiles in cuba if the USA removes it from turkey, and if the USA does not attack cuba. Khruschchev treatens to have a nucular war if AMerica invides Cuba

Terms are asked for

Oct 27, 1962

Khruschchev sends terms for the United States. 1 to take the missles out of Turkey, and send out a statement that they will not invade cuba. This was all after the usa U2 plane was shot over cuba.

Missiles ended

Oct 28, 1962

America and the SU agree on to remove the missiles in Turkey and Cuba. Terms were agreeded upon, and the crisis is done.
