U.S Recognizes The Crow Tribe
U.S offically recognizes the Crow nation as a tribe. -
Plenty Coups Has A Vision
Elders thought that Plenty Coups vision meant that the whites will become dominate of the country. And in order to keep their land they must keep on good terms with the white man. -
Treaty of Fort Laramie
Treaty between the Cheyenne, Sioux, Arapaho, Crow, Assiniboine, Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara nations that stated that indians must grant annutiy to travelers on the Oregon Trail and allow for roads and forts to be built on their teritory. But they recieved $50,000 of fifty years. The Crow nation did not accept. -

Crow warriors enlisted in the US Army to help in the fight against the Sioux and it's allies -
Moved To Reseveration
Despite helping the U.S win the Sioux War they were moved to a reservation in 1888. -
Crow Organizes Yearly Fair
The Crow nation organizes a yearly fair, celebrated on third weekend of August. The fair celebrates their culture.
