During summer break, Camille and I had a break on our friendship. On this day, we became friends again and our friendship seemed like it had never changed. We have been friends since eighth grade and this affected my life because she is a true friend and I needed a friend to trust at the time. -

My first time cheering for Benton High School football! I was cheering for the freshman boys as the cheerleading captain. This affected my life because I could now support the football team by cheering them on! -

This is the day when Jessie Ratliff and I decided that we are Partners In Crime. During eighth grade we weren't close, and this year we have writing class together and we became closer. This affected my life because I now have someone to call my Partner In Crime! -
Adjectives, Pronouns, Adverbs, Preposition
Adjectives describes a noun or pronoun. A pronoun takes place of a noun. A noun is a person, place, or thing. An adverb is a word that describes a verb. Adverbs usually end with -ly. Preposition shows relationship between nouns and pronouns and another word in a sentence. This affected my life because Mrs. Lafasciano taught me these in a stronger way than my eighth grade teacher did, so I understand them much more now. -
Strunk and White
Strunk and White is when you have a series of 3 or more terms with a single conjunction, you would use a comma after teach term except the last. For example: Lafayette, Benton, and Central play each other in the city's jamboree. This affected my life because by Mrs. Lafasciano adding a catchy title, I now remember where to put my comma's and apostrophe's. -
He's A Good Time Cowboy Casonova! Carrie Underwood!
My brother, Mallory, and I went to go see Carrie Underwood in concert. This is the first time we all went to a concert together. This affected my life because all three of us became closer and I learned that my brother likes Carrie Underwood's music. It was very exciting! -

My first time cheering for Benton basketball! I was now a Junior Varsity cheerleader, and the co-captain of the cheerleading squad. This affected my life because I could support girls and boys basketball by cheering them on and supporting them during a game. -

The Last Song-Favorite Book!
This is the day when I finished reading "The Last Song" by Nicholas Sparks. It is about a teenage girl named Ronnie who hated her father at first, but when she comes upon a boy he has changed her ways. She falls in love with him, and treats her father with manners. This affected my life because it was the first book I read by Nicholas Sparks, and now he is one of my favorite authors. -
Christmas Tradition- We're off to go to MeMe's!
On Christmas, we spend most of the morning at my grandma's eating and opening presents. This affected my life because we always have special times together on Christmas, and makes our family more stronger. -

We go to a hall to have a Christmas Exchange with my Dad's side of the family. We always have our good times! This affected my life because I rarely see my Dad's side of the family so at the exchange we had time to catch up on each other's our lives. -

My baby cousin Colt turned 5 and we had a birthday party for him. I spend almost everyday with Colt, and he always makes me laugh and smile. This affected my life because it shows me how fast the years have gone by, and how old I am getting. -

Context Clues are clues that your book provides for you to help you figure out what a certain word means. This affected my life because my vocabulary is not very large, and by using context clues I have expanded my vocabulary. -
Facebook rocks..sometimes.
I was on facebook and I noticed my cousin from Tacoma, Washington was online. We chatted for about an hour, after not talking to each for about 4 years. This affected my life because now that my cousins have a facebook, we could to communicate more and see how each of us are doing. -
Your Love Is My Drug! Ke$ha!
This is the day Mallory and I went to the Ke$ha concert. On the car ride there, during the concert, and on the car ride home we became very close. I hope that she will soon be my sister-in-law. This affected my life because it made me closer to Mallory, and showed me that I can really trust her. Tik Tok on the clock but the party don't stop! Rock on Kansas City! -
Poms tryouts!
We had our final tryout this day, and I made it! This made an impact because now I can support Benton by my favorite sport dancing, instead of cheering! -

We finished our tap dance for recital on this day! Now, to clean it up! This affected my life because it tells me that I am one step closer to recital and for me to practice my dance very hard. -
Happy 20th Birthday, Hunter James!
My older brother turned 20 on this day. This past year we have became closer than ever. I love him very much, and I wouldn't want to trade him for any other brother. This affected my life because now I know it is about time for him to move out, and to spend as much time with him as possible before he gets any older! -
Writing Initiative. Perfect score! Yeah!
I jumped from a 2.9 to a 4.0 on our writing initiative! Mrs. Lafasciano is great! This affected my life because my having such a large jump on my score, it made me feel like a stronger writer. Mrs. Lafasciano has affected my life too because she has helped me become a stronger writer and has helped me gain my confidence on my writing pieces.
