Nasser took control of the Suez canal after the united states ans Britain had denied him funds to build the dam. Britain and France launched an attack on Egypt do to Nasser control over the Suez canal. the Suez canal became a victory and Nasser became a hero in the Arab world. -
The Iran-Iraq war
Iraq attacked Iran because of border disputes. The war was long and costly, with many dead on both sides. during the war, Iraq used chemical weapons against Iranian troops as well as Kurdish Iraqis.
