Egyptian and israeli leaders meet to discuss a peace treaty. The treaty includes egypt regaining full control of Sinai Peninsula.The treaty is signed on march 26th 1979 -
Israeli invasion of Lebanon
The treaty with egypt leads to a "cold" peace war. Israe;i must now focus on the refugees living in the west bank. Palaestine border attacks help lead to more tention bewteen the two. -
camp david 2000
Tensions are rising as the september deadline apporaches and no treaty in sight. Clinton begins a last-ditch peace effort by hosting at one of the camps to pull them all together. The summit last two weeks but there are persistent issues that come along with it.
