The first laptop, the TRS-80 Model 100. I think this was important because it's amazing how far they had got they went from computers the size of a room to a computer that fits on your lap. Amazing how much progress had happened and people kept making them better. -

Toy Story was the first film ever to be completely computer generated. This as important because they used a computer to make a movie, pretty remarkable, I think it made people wonder what else they could do, what they could do if they improved it or something. It's important because after that they improved it and made things better. They are still making computers better, it was amazing that a computer could do this at the time. And it was important.
