Computer Timeline

  • Z1 Computer

    The Z1 computer was the first freely programmable computer. It was completed in 1938 and fianaced completely from private funds. This Computer was destroyed in the bombardment of Berlin in December 1943, during World War 2, together with all construction plands.
  • ABC Computer

    Was the first Automatic electronic digital computer. An early electroni digitatl computer that has reamined somewhat obscured.
  • Harvard Mark 1 Computer

    The original concept was presented to IBM by Howard Aiken in November 1937. The ASCC was developed and built by IBM at their Endicott Plant and shipped to Harvard in February 1944.
  • Eniac 1 Computer

    ENIAC was initially designed to calculate military firing tables for the US armies ballistic research lab. Its speed of one thousand times that electro-mechanic machines had.
  • EDSAC Computer

    This computer was the first to have practical stored-program. To program the computer, you established short programs called sub routines stored on punched paper tips.
  • ERA 1101 Computer

    It was the first commercially produced computer. Their first customer was the US Navy.
  • UNIVAC Computer

    The first UNIVAC computer was accepted by the United States census bureau on March 31,1951, and was dedicated on June 14th of that year. The 5th machine built was used by CBS to protect the 1952 presidential ballot.
  • TX-0 Computer

    The first general purposed, programmable computer built with transistors. For easy replacement, designers placed each transistor circuit inside a vacuum tube sort of thing.
  • KENBAK-1

    KENBAK-1
    This was the first personnal computer advertised for $750.00. It was designed by John Blankenbaker using standard medium-scale and small scale integrated circuits.
  • CRAY 1

    CRAY 1
    This was the first commercially successful vector processor. The fastest machine of its day. Its speed came partly from its shape which was a C.
  • Apple-1

    A single board computer that was open to buy off the market. There were 200 boards sold before Apple could announce the Apple-2 computers release date.
  • Macintosh

    It was the first mouse-driven computer with a graphic user interface. The price of the computer when released was $2,500.00.
  • Holographic Tablets

    You can have the time be shown like a clock up over the tablet. You can also have it show the news and other shows.
  • Touch screen counter tops

    You can put your hand held device and facetime on your counter top. The way you do it is by draging it off the device on to the counter.
  • Touch screen Glass windows

    You can adjust your sun view by making a dial go down or up.
    You can also set a timer for when you want the sun to show and wake you up.
