  • Osborne introduced

    Osborne introduced
    The first mass-produced portable computer that was a success. It included very useful productivity software. It was released by the Osborne Computer Corporation by Adam Osborne. It was useful for the technology phase because it helped enhance the modern technology and it was overall built with that successful portable computer.
  • Bernoulli Box

    Bernoulli Box
    A removable floppy disk storage system was named after Daniel Bernoulli, it was contemporary hard disk drive. High capacity. It helped improve hard drive systems and there were people claiming that they didn't have any bugs or glitches because of the Bernoulli Box.
  • IBM releases the first commercial RISC-based workstation

    IBM releases the first commercial RISC-based workstation
    RISC grew out the observation 20% of computer instruction 80% of the work. COmputers started to work faster. It was later inspected to be successful and ideas started to be gathered to enhance the technology to help make faster personal computers.
  • Laser 128 released

    Laser 128 released
    VTech is the company that created and came with the idea, manufacture of pong-like games, and educational systems. To this day you can go to your local Walmart or target and usually VTech is something for the little ones to learn from those particular devices. The idea of portable systems was introduced in 1984 but it was successful and released in 1988.
  • Intel introduces the 80486 microprocessor

    Intel introduces the 80486 microprocessor
    Each chip contained more than one million translators. It was an arithmetic and logic unit. It doubled up in performance without increasing the clock rate. It is considered one of the beginning stages in microprocessors and it affects us to this day because everything has a little processor.
