In January 1996 the first USB cable for commercial use was released. Today USB cables are used plugging in keyboards to charging phones. -
First MP3 Player
The first MP3 player, a Saehan's MPMan, was released in Japan. The MP3 was able to store hundreds of songs, unlike CD players, it allowed several CD's worths of music to be transported in one device.
