  • The Difference Engine

    The Difference Engine was a early calculating machine by Charles Babbage.
  • HP 200A Audio Oscillator

    The HP 200A Audio Oscillator was a testing sound equipment that generates one pure tone. It began in Stanford University, made by Bill Hewlett.
  • Bombe

    The Bombe was used to figure out the codes that the Germans’ were sending. The Bombe was created by Alan Turing.
  • The Atanasoff-Berry Computer

    The A.B.C was the first automatic digital computer. It was created by Dr. John Vincent Atanasoff and Clifford Berry, one of Dr. John Vincent's Student.
  • Colossus

    The Colossus was developed for the British to crack the German codes. Created by Tommy Flowers, but with help of Harry Fensom, Allen Coombs, Sid Broadhurst, and Bill Chandler. Once the War was over, The Colossus was taken apart and the parts were given back to the Post Office. Only 2 remain, but they were kept secret until 1970.

    This was used in the war effort during the last par World War II. It’s an electro-mechanical calculator and was used for general purposes. Harvard Mark-1 was presented by Howard Aiken and a engineer, Thomas Watson Sr. agreed to it and its fund for it.

    ENIAC is the first general-purpose computer ever made. John Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert were the ENIAC inventors.

    It was an early British computer. E.D.S.A.C was a inspired by John von Neumann's E.D.V.A.C, but the person who built this machine was called Maurice Wilkes.
