Collosus found a machine to break the code. Without this we would still be trying to break the code and it would be very hard to uncode everything everytime we need to use the computer. -

Andrew Donald Booth invented the first drum memory that is magnetic. This is important because the memory in our computers is very important to me. -

The Lyons Electronic Office were the first ones to use a computer for business services. I chose this because my dad works for the business industry and I see how he uses his computer for work everyday. -
Computer Games
In 1962 Steve Russel created the first computer game called Spacewar Computer Games. This is important because I see kids play games in their free time and they look like they are enjoying life with them. -

The first computer mouse was invented by Douglas Englabart. This is one of the most important inventions because computer mouses help me navigate things on my computer. -

The first email was invented by Ray Tomlinson. I am super happy he invented this because it is a great way to keep up with my family back home in Texas. -

The first compact disk was in the United States. I used to love listening to the latest pop music on cds and without this invention I would not be able to be happy. -
Portable Computer
The first portable computer was produced by Altair in 1975. As I am using a laptop now this was a very good invention. -
WWW
The World Wide Web was first introduced to the public on August 6, 1991. This is very important because I am now using the World Wide Web everyday at school and home.
