First electronic computer was developed by Konrad Zuse. Z3 was first programable and automatic digital computer. -
British + Americans
the British built the Colossus computer while the Americans built the Electronic Numerical Integrator Analyzer and computer. Both machines relied on vacuum tubes these were considered the first generation of computers -
IBM
The first mass produced computer was introduced by IBM in 1954, the 650. Today transistors are still used in computers. By 1958 several components were combined into computers using integrated circuits. -
Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems
The fist personal computer was introduced by Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems, it was called Altair 8800. The machine was made up of 4 boards stacked onto of each other and wound ring when it received a message much like todays ringtones. This computer inspired Bill Gates and Steve Jobs to create their amazing companies.
