WordStar software created word processors. This was and important program because people were able to use it as way to save notes, essays, papers, etc., on their computers. -
Apple Lisa Computer
The very home computer with a GUI, graphical user interface. This was very important because it helped people be able to visually see what the computer was "talking" about and not have to try to understand all of the lanugae of the computer. It made it very helpful for everyone. -
Microsoft and IBM
Microsoft and IBM stop working with each other. They stopped working with each other because they wanted to develop their own operating systems. This was important in Computer History because it made them become less friendly to each other and they grew very far apart over time.
