The computer mouse was invented and it was used to click and do things for the computer. It is important because we still use mice today.

Computer Memory

Apr 21, 1970

The world's first available dynamic RAM chip. This is important because it runs programs and it led to our current day RAM. I put this in my timeline because you can't have a computer without memory. It won't save any work that is created.

The "Floppy" Disk

Mar 25, 1971

This was invented because of it's flexibility. It is non breakable and easy to use. It is important because it held a small amount of data and it was slow. So, they invented the floppy disk.

Microsoft

Mar 27, 1981

MS-DOS computer oportating system increased Microsoft's success. Microsoft started very small, but had a huge vision. I put this on my timeline because it was an important event with technology back then.

Windows

Mar 28, 1983

Microsoft window was introduced and eliminated the need for people to type each command. This worked by using a mouse to hit the drop-down menus, irons and tabs. I put this on my timeline because it made typing easier.

Nintendo

May 8, 1985

The Nintendo system was invented. It was important because it is a huge entertainment system and iit s really popular. I put this on my timeline because it is a world wide game system!

Yahoo

Jun 17, 1994

Yahoo was created. It is important because it is a search engine. I put this on my timeline because we need to be able to search for information and pictures.

Google

Mar 30, 1998

Google is invented on September 7th. This is important because it is the most popular search engine. It was formed by Sergey Brin and Larry Page. I put this on my timeline because to me, Google is everthyng.

Xbox

Jan 7, 2001

Bill Gates introduced the Xbox in January. This is another very popular entertainment system. I put this on my timeline because everyone knows about the Xbox.

Skpye

Skype was introduced. It is important because it is a great way to stay in touch with people and family who live far away. It is free and not very expensive for calling purposes. I put this on my timeline because it is so popular it has over 100 million registered users.
