Pixar was the first to have CGI animation but the fisrt actual type is the 3D stop-motion/Clay-mation. Shawn the Sheep is an example of the stop-motion animation. -

Marvel's Avengers set a great fire in the Marvel Universe. They captured great computer animation (CGI) with the movie. Avengers set the stage of capturing animation and when Avengers 2 came out it was epic. -

A famous comic book artist like Jim Lee. He also has created some amazing art work. He also founded Top Cow Productions and a division of Image Comics. -

Marvel Studios is a growing company, already set to have movies coming out almost every year. They have mapped out movies til 2028. -
