BOGOTA'S FACTORY 1928
The 12th april 1920, in the city of Medellin, a group of “antioqueños” visionaries founded the national company of Chocolates, initially called company of Chocolates Cruz Roja, formed by the grouping of little local producers. During the next years we managed to consolidate our company by improving the production processes and updating our factories located in Cali, Bogotá and Medellín. We also set up one factory in Bucaramanga. -
Products and Brands
brands1930 - 1935
We placed the brands, Corona, Diana and Tesalia. Additionally started with the making of grounded and toasted coffee with the banner brand in Cali. -
PABLO EMILIO ECHEVERRI
1940 - 1950
Pablo Emilio Echeverri entered the company as the first Colombian technician. He performed an important task with the update of the industrial equipment and he kept the products development according to the taste of Colombian consumers. -

The sixties
1960 - 1970
In the sixties, we offered JET to Colombian people, the first chocolate sweet made in the country, also we offered Chocolisto, the first chocolate powder beverage for milk. -
New products
1980 - 1985
New products were launched to the market as: Wafer jet, Combi jet, Coco jet and Deli jet. (The first sweets based on cores covered by chocolate). -
First sugar free diet chocolate
185 - 1990
We incorporated Chocolyne, the first sugar free diet chocolate. In addition, the company experimented and huge update in Diana and Tesalia chocolates by being flavored with cinnamon and clove. -
Cruz de Boyacá
1990 – 1995
We set important agreements with foreign companies which allow the arrival of our products to international markets.
In 1995 for thr 75th anniversary, the company received the Cruz de Boyacá in the silver cross degree. -
Chocolate Nacional
1995-2000
We launched Chocolate Nacional to the market, first instantaneous chocolate of Colombia, Gol, a sweet chocolate covered , Topsi, Cruji Explosivo, Golochips with vitamins, granola and oat. -
Novaventa Company
2000 - 2002
The Compañía Nacional de Chocolates merged with the Compañía de Galletas Noel to set up Novaventa S.A. company. -
Costa Rica's new factory
2002 . 2004
With the imaginary of improving every day, the industrial and financial activity of the company split up in the following way; the CNCH changed corporate name to INCH dedicated to the management of the company investment portfolio. Furthermore a new CNCH was set to take care of the cacao based products.
In June of 2004 the Compañía Nacional de Chocolates of Costa Rica was set up. -
Good Foods S.A.
2007
The company formalized the adquisition of the assets of the peruvian company Good Foods S.A. and its subsidiaries. -

2008 - 2010
This way, nowadays we have our own production plants in Mexico, Costa Rica, Perú and Colombia, and the distribution net Cordialsa which operates in Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos.
Recently we produce and commercialize 27 brands under the name of chocolate sweets, milk modifiers, nuts, cereals y pastry with leadership in the markets. Our human team defines by its talent and motivation; it’s formed by 2.766 people committed to give their best out of them. -
Chocolate sweet Jet.
2012
Chocolate sweet Jet, the emblematic product of the National company of Chocolates gets to its 50th anniversary. Jet was the first chocolate sweet in the country which has become an icon for several generations. It is also recognized for having a collectible sticker in charge of contributing to children and grownups learning throughout its albums.
