6:50am Klebold and Harris show up for school
Eric David Harris and Dylan Bennet Klebold arived at school, Harris in a t-shirt with the words Natural Selection. -
11:15am reports come in of two masked gunmen entering the school
he first call from the kitchen, hidden so close to the killers he could hear them reloading their guns. they began firing in the parkin lot, and throwing pipe bombs in the library and caferteria. -
11:19 shooting begans at west entrance
Harris and Klebold begin shooting towards the west entrance door, killing Rachel Scott and injuring Richard Castaldo. -
11:24 harris exchanges gunfire with deputy in parking lot
Harris, inside at the west entrance double doors, exchanges gunfire with Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy Neil Gardner who has just arrived in the parking lot. -
11:27am 911 call from inside the library
Patricia Nielson runs into the library where she calls 911. Brian Anderson staggers down the hallway toward the library. -
11:31 Harris and Klebold move east in the north main hallway
they were laughing and firing their weapons Klebold shoots at fleeing students and injuries Stephanie Munson. -
11:29am shooters enter the library
Harris is observed standing in the hall outside the library throwing a lit device (resembling “dynamite”) in a southerly direction. Moments later there’s an explosion in the hall directly outside the library. -
11:34 shooters runs west in the north hallway toward the library hallway.
Harris and Klebold are observed just inside the west entrance shooting south down the library hallway. William “Dave” Sanders is shot while turning the corner from the library hallway to the science area. -
11:36am shooters throw bomb into science room
After leaving the library Harris and Klebold go to the science area and throw an explosive device into an unoccupied storage room. this started a fire that would be put out by a teacher -
12:08 pm shooters kill themselves
Harris and Klebold commit suicide in the library. -
2:38pm student ecapes through window
Patrick Ireland comes out the library window. -
11am Harris and Klebold arrive back on campus
Eric Harris drives into the junior parking lot and parks his Honda. they are wearing shades and black trenchcoats and head toward the Columbine High cafeteria. -
11:47am shooters move though school to library
Harris and Klebold walk to the administrative offices located on the east side of the school, leaving the office area and walk north through the art area, firing into the ceiling as they are walking and make their way back to the cafeteria. -
11:44 shooters detonate bombs in cafeteria
Harris and Klebold walk down to the cafeteria and Harris shoots towards the large explosive devise in an apparent attempt to detonate it.

11:56am shooters return to library
Harris and Klebold return to the library and fire upon law enforcement and rescue workers who are evacuating the injured outside in the parking lot. -
wednesday morning
Police revise death toll to 15, based on a count of bodies. Discovered that several bodies were booby-trapped.
