In this day we started to plan our project work activities by making a schedule and a "to do" list. This was very usefull to our organization! -
Delivering and Reading The Warning
After writing the Warning about our colection to be read on the mass by the priest of our village, we delivered it to him, and it was read for the first time on this day, It was read again on the day after. -
Making of The Batteries Recycling Bank
In the afternoon we built the Batteries Recycling Bank by actually recycling an old can of Pringles and labelling it with proper name and making it look like a big battery! We used this box to collet the batteries from the people in our village. -
Couting and Weighing the Batteries
At the end of the afternoon we counted the batteries and weighed them. A total of 375 batteries and 10kg of them! -
Door to door Collection of Batteries
On this day we collected the most part of the batteries only in our villages, Lagedo and Casal de Cima. We made it all door to door, by foot. It was a long walk... -
Receiving the Batteries
We talked to all of the people that gave us or not the batteries they had, and we explained to a lot of them that batteries need the right treatment, something that most of the people didn't know. -

A school partner that lives in our village helped us too! -

In this day we ended the collection and recounted and reweighed the total number of batteries. More than 900 batteries and 25kg! -
Delivering the Batteries
In this day, we ended our project by delivering all the batteries in a batteries bank, helping a school's project named "Escolas Interrecycling"
