Development of Confucianism
Because of the acceptance, and furthering of Confucianism, the Han Dynasty improved and established the system of ruling the land by morals and ethics. Emperor Han Wudi was the one who declared China as a Confucian state. During this time period, other ideologies were banned and everyone was told to learn the teachings of Confucianism. The establishment of a Confucian state would help Han Wudi rule for 54 years. -

Moving of the Capital
The decline of Rome was started when Constantine moved the capital. He moved it to the Greek city of Byzantium. This was located ont he Black sea. He soon after, renamed it "Constantinople." This transfer of the capital meant complete division of of the Empire. -
Abolishment of Republican Liberties
After the abolishment of the republican liberties, the Senate was now no more than the city counsil of Rome. This was accomplished by Diocletian. He also took the first step toward dividing the Empire. After dividing it, he took control of the East and turned the rule of the West over to an assosiate. -
Finding the Value of Pi
Aryabhatta and Varahamihira, belonging to the Gupta Golden Age, helped to estimate the approximate value of Pi. Arybhatta came to the conlusion that Pi was irrational. This conclusion was proven in Europe in 1761.
