After the Emperor Ling 188, a miltiary offical invaded the palace and began a slaughter in hopes of becoming Ling's succsessor. As this stuggle for power happens for sometime. Finally Liu Bei, a member of the Han Dynasty, he had a kind deposition, Though he may have had a chance at unifying China, his ally broke him. His ally, San Quan began his own dynasty, along with others like Cao Cao, beginning the Six Dynasties. -

Christianity becomes official religion of Rome
Constantine defeats the co-emperors (one from west and one from east) and become the emperor of all of Rome. Constantine stops the persecuation of Christian people in the Roman Empire. Constantine makes Christianity the official religion of Rome by the Edict of Milan. Constantine also moves the Roman capital to the east and names it, Constantinopal. -

Split into two Empires
Constantine divided the Roman Empire into two halfs: The western half revoling around Rome. Then there was the eastren half created by Constantine which revoled around the capital city Constantinople, which he named after himself. Each half had a different language and religion. The western half being Roman Catholic and speaking Latin. The eastern half being Eastern Othadox branch of Christianity and speaking Greek. -

Visigoths-Sack of Rome
In 410 AD Rome was attacked by the Visigoths. The Visigoths were led by Alaric at the time of this attack. First, the Visigoths invaded Italy and then into Rome. The Romans offered Alaric silk, gold, silver and other goods to get him to leave. Alaric though, felt he had no other choice but to sack the Roman empire. -

Hunas Invade
Skandagupta is leading the Gupta Empire in 455 AD. He defeats the threat of the Pushyamitras. Although the Pushyamitras' threat was now gone, there was another threat that began. The Hunas invaded from the northwest. Another major threat was the costs of the war that had devistated the empire's resources. -

Romulus Augustulus falls
Romulus Augustulus is known as the last western emperor. He was just a young boy (14) when he was forced out of power. Romulus Augustulus was deposed by Odoacer. Odoacer was a barbarian general. After Odoacer deposed the last emperor, he then rules Italy.
