Foreign Invasions
Many foreign invasions caused the collaspe of the Roman Empire. Groups such as the Visigoths, Vandals, Angles, Saxons, Franks, Ostrogoths, and Lombards invaded Rome. These groups invaded and settled into areas of Rome. Poor leaders such as Constantine weakened governement and army. When money became low the government could only afford to get cheaper Germanic soilders to fight in the Roman army. -

Inflation
Nero and some other emporers reduced the value of coins. The reduction was to pay for the demand of the supply of more coins. This made prices of everything rapidly increase. Money lost value because fewer taxes were paid. Less gold was put in, when people found out about this it started the inflation. -

the roman empire expanded to far. there military was not large enough th protect all of the empire. so because of this the roman empire had a constint threat of invaders. because the roman army could be at one side of the empire and have an invasion happining on the other side. -

the roman empire hire mercinaries to protect the borders. but the bad thing was that they hired mercinaries from the enemy country. so they would let there own country in and attack the roman empire. -
