The separation of Vietnam into North and South made a huge impact towards revolutions. Once more the US and Soviet Union supported sides. Eventually A new 3rd side help support North Vietnam, the 3rd side wasnamed Vietcong. -

Soviet Union launches a satalite named Sputnik and a space race is then started by because of the U.S's response of creating NASA. -
Cuban Missle Crisis
A two week stand off between soviets and the US because of their missle placement. Later on Oct 28, 1962 the missles were removed from Cuba. -
Vietnam War (End)
After the public's opposition the war was brought to a stop and was worked on to get a peace treaty. The war finally came to an end in 1975.
