    The war was North Korea and Russia against South Korea and America. This was considered the first violent act of the cold war. They were fighting to make Koria either a communist of a democratic country. They ended up just keeping the country divided and it still divided today.

    After the western nations formed NATO to rival the NATO the Eastern nations created the Warsaw Pact.

    The war was North Vietnam and the communist against South Vietnam and America. The war ended with the withdraw of America in 1973 and then the combine of Vietnam into a communist country two years later. In the was 3 million people died.

    It was the first satellite on Earth. Soviet Union launched it into an elliptical low Earth Orbit.

    A wall built that divided the city of Berlin into East and West Berlin. East Germany built the wall because they wanted to protect their capital East Berlin since it was in a different country.

    It was a 13 day standoff between the Soviet Union and America because of the installation of Soviet nuclear missiles on cuba which is only 90 miles from America.

    Apollo 11 was the first spacecraft to land 2 humans on the Moon. Mission commander Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin, both American, landed the lunar model.
